Application :
The hubs primary purpose
is terminating electrical conduit through
the wall of a sheet metal enclosure.
It forms a joint that is watertight, air
tight and dust tight.
It fits into standard konck-out dimensions
and seals with a Buna-N "O" ring
gasket
which is impervious to corrosive moisture
and petroleum products.
Its is secured in place by radial serrations
on the hub and the oversize locknut
which bite into the metal enclosure wall,
making it vibration proof and forming a
low resistance
bonding path to form a very effective ground
path.
The hub can further be used in many other
fields, Being air, dust and liquid tight
it can be used in hydraulic and air pressure
systems for connection to the supply tank
and compression equipment.
